On the occasion of Turkmenistan's Independence Day, a new well was opened at the Uzynada field

In honor of the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, a new 11th research well at the Uzynada oil and gas field has been opened and has already produced raw materials. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The new field is located in Balkan province, 74 kilometers from the city of Balkanabad.
Specialists of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" started drilling the first well here back in 2015 and completed it in 2017. This well currently provides a stable inflow of raw materials for fuel production.

The new well will be transferred under the management of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" and will allow to successfully implement the National Program on development of the oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period up to 2030. Hydrocarbon production from the formations at a depth of 6,734-6,736 meters will allow to fully utilize the reserves of the eastern part of the field.
