Turkmenistan sends humanitarian cargo to Afghanistan

Turkmenistan has sent humanitarian aid in the form of medicines, medical goods, textiles and foodstuffs to the friendly country in connection with the strong earthquake in Afghanistan, which caused large-scale destruction, human casualties and injuries. This was reported on the air of the news program Watan.

Strengthening cooperation with neighboring brotherly countries is one of the priority directions of the policy of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in view of which active humanitarian activities are carried out in the country.

The observance of the highest principles of humanism is not only humanitarian aid, but also spiritual support of people affected by a natural disaster, expression of feelings of deep empathy and respect for the people of a neighboring state.
