Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov held a meeting with Minister-Delegate of the Republic of Chad Fatime Aljine Garfa in the tourist zone "Avaza" on August 9. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The Turkmen side expressed gratitude to the Chadian delegation for participation in the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Countries (LLDC3). The diplomats noted the significant potential for strengthening bilateral relations in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian areas.
In the course of the talks, the sides considered possibilities for the participation of delegations in various events that the two countries plan to organize this year. Special attention was paid to the upcoming International Forum of Peace and Confidence, which will be held in December in Ashgabat as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
Minister Delegate of Chad Fatime Aljine Garfa proposed the Turkmen side to consider the possibility of participation in the activities of the Chad Connection 2030 project. Following the meeting, the diplomats agreed to continue joint work on the development of Turkmen-Chad relations in all areas of mutual interest.
