Х. Khudaygulyev: Internet coverage of settlements of Turkmenistan is 100%

During the International Scientific Conference on Telecommunications, Telemetry, Information Technology and TV-Radio Equipment "Turkmentel - 2023", Chairman of Turkmenaragatnashyk Agency Hajimurat Khudaygulyev said that all settlements of Turkmenistan on 100% are provided with high-speed Internet. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The Agency Chairman emphasized that it became possible due to the joint work of the Agency and the Islamic Development Bank. The volume of investments in the project implementation amounted to 273 million US dollars.
Today the number of active users of wired and mobile Internet in Turkmenistan is over 3 million people.

It was also noted that much attention is paid to increasing the capacity of transit traffic. At this stage, 8 directions of interstate fiber-optic Internet lines have already been created in Turkmenistan.
