7th meeting of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission held

The 7th session of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday, November 28. The delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan headed by Minister of Economy Mikail Jabbarov arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the meeting. This is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was attended by heads and representatives of relevant ministries and agencies of the two countries. During the event, a high level of interstate relations based on the principles of mutual respect was noted.

The sides discussed the progress of previously reached agreements, emphasized the importance of finding new methods and forms of cooperation taking into account mutual interests of socio-economic development of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.

Turkmen speakers spoke about the country's economic achievements and the essence of large-scale programs that are being successfully implemented under the leadership of Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
