Press conference of the Ambassador of India held in Ashgabat

Indian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Vidhu Pithambaran Nair held a press conference in Ashgabat on the results of his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan. This was reported by turkmenportal.com.

The Indian diplomat noted the positive dynamics of development of political ties at various levels. He emphasized that in order to develop trade and economic cooperation, it is necessary to implement joint projects between India and Turkmenistan. At the same time, despite the problems caused by the pandemic, the Ambassador noted the positive dynamics of mutual trade turnover.

It was also emphasized that cooperation in the transport sector is of strategic importance, as Turkmenistan is a significant transit hub in Central Asia. The Ambassador expressed interest in expanding cultural and educational exchange, as well as in strengthening the friendship of peoples.
