Turkmenistan's initiatives during the World Government Summit

During the World Government Summit, which was held in the UAE from February 11 to 14, the Turkmen delegation put forward three initiatives based on the international initiatives of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

One initiative was the creation of a Global Atlas of Sustainable Transport Connectivity. This will enable mutually agreed actions based on multilateral cooperation, open data and analytics.

During the Summit, an initiative was put forward to establish an Alliance for Cooperation on Global Energy Security and Sustainable Development. The third initiative of the Turkmen delegation was the development of the Global Framework for Transition to Circular Economy based on the priorities of the global sustainable development agenda for the period until 2030.
