On March 4, the International University of Humanities and Development of Turkmenistan started an open international Olympiad in mathematics. This was reported by the Internet publication "Vestiabad".
Students from 50 universities of the world came to the university to participate in the Olympiad. Foreign guests were welcomed with national dances and songs in different languages and were treated to traditional Turkmen dishes.
The intellectual competitions will be held in individual and team competitions. Turkmen and English will be the official languages of the Olympiad. Various cultural events have been organized for foreign students.
The results of the Olympiad will be announced on March 8, International Women's Day. According to the results of last year's Olympiad, Turkmen students won 120 medals of different values.
