Atajan Movlamov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Pakistan, met with Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on April 17, 2024. This was reported by the Westiabad online edition.
The Pakistani side expressed interest in expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan in the fields of energy, trade and communications. The special importance of effective interaction on regional projects and initiatives was emphasized. The need to intensify high-level exchanges and meetings within the framework of bilateral institutional mechanisms was also emphasized.
At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador informed the Prime Minister about the planned joint activities. The Turkmen diplomat conveyed congratulations to the Prime Minister on his re-election from the leadership of Turkmenistan.
