Special prizes of the Moscow Festival were established in honor of Turkmen singers

Art director of the Moscow International Festival of Arts "Sounds of Dutar" named after Nury Halmamedov M. Huseynov told about the establishment of special prizes in honor of Turkmen singers. This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

One of the special prizes of the festival will be the Medeniyet Shakhberdiyeva Prize "For the best performance of Nury Khalmamedov's vocal compositions". The organizing committee of the festival also established the Maya Kulieva prize "For the best performance of a chamber work based on ethno-cultural traditions".

The prizes named after Turkmen singers will be awarded annually to stimulate the creativity of young singers. The first award ceremony will be held this year. Applications for the contest will be accepted until October 1, 2024.
