The fifth day of Turkmenistan Culture Week ended in the city of Arkadag. This is reported by the Internet edition "TurkmenPortal.
On the fifth day of the cultural action, the D. Azadi Arkadag Library hosted the conference "Priority directions of modernization and improvement of scientific and methodological activities of libraries". The event was held in parallel with the exhibition of publishers' products. The exhibition presented publications on the life and works of Makhtumkuli Fraghi, scientific literature, as well as books authored by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The agenda of the conference included topical issues of book depositories development, increasing interest in electronic books, studying the possibilities of increasing the duration of storage of ancient books. A number of other topics were also considered.
The National Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli hosted the awarding ceremony of the winners of the contest "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Clue of Mind". The creative meeting and screening of the movie "Composer" were held at the A. Gulmammedov State Drama Theater.
