Report of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Turkmenistan for 2023 published

On the website of the State Information Agency "Turkmenistan Today." The official Report of the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) in Turkmenistan for the working period 2023 has appeared.

The report describes the situation with regard to the realization and observance of rights and freedoms in the country and covers economic, social, cultural, civil and political human rights. The document also contains information on the analysis of the handling of citizens' appeals and the Ombudsman's work to improve Turkmenistan's legislation. The report also focuses on international cooperation and the Ombudsman's participation in public events.

This document is the seventh report of the Commissioner for Human Rights in Turkmenistan. After each chapter of the document, the Ombudsman makes recommendations for improvement in various areas.
