The "Night of Cinema" was held in Ashgabat

Two new Russian films were shown during the "Night of Cinema" event in Ashgabat on August 23. This is reported by the Internet edition "CentralAsia.news".

The Department of Education, Science and Culture of the Russian Embassy in Turkmenistan showed the movies "One Hundred Years to the Future" and "By Pike's Will". "One Hundred Years to the Future" is a remake of the famous Soviet children's series "The Guest from the Future". The second film is based on the Russian fairy tale about the cunning idler Yemelya.

During the action, the guests were shown a welcome video message by Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Culture of Russia. She noted that the large-scale action "Night of Cinema" turns libraries, museums, embankments and other public spaces into cinemas.

"Night of Cinema" is held annually on the eve of the Day of Russian Cinema celebrated in Russia on the territory of the country, and this year - and beyond its borders.
