Armenian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ruben Kharazyan highly assessed the forum "Interconnection of Times and Civilizations - the Basis of Peace and Development" held in Ashgabat. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
The diplomat noted that the event will be an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation. He emphasized that the literary heritage of Makhtumkuli is of great importance in the modern society. The poet's work has not lost its relevance for many decades.
Ruben Kharazyan emphasized that Makhtumkuli Fraghi's works have many parallels with Armenian literature - the poems convey universal values such as humanism, justice and love.
The diplomat expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the opportunity to participate in the Ashgabat forum.
