In Turkmenistan, forestry workers have started collecting seeds

In Mary velayat of Turkmenistan, workers of forest nurseries Akybaý, Ata ýurt and Nahalhana started collecting seeds of trees of various deciduous species. For this purpose, a mobile brigade of forestry specialists went to sandy areas. This is reported by the Internet publication "Westiabad." 

Seed collection will continue until the end of winter. During this period, forest nursery staff will also be engaged in preparation of places for storage of collected seeds. Mineral fertilizers will be applied to the areas prepared for sowing in accordance with agrotechnical norms.

During the winter period, forestry workers of the Mary province of Turkmenistan plan to collect at least one ton of seeds.
