Within the framework of the bilateral Agreement on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs affairs, a delegation of representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan made a working visit to Dubai (UAE). This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
During the visit, the delegation of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan met with representatives of the Federal Customs Administration of the UAE. The parties considered issues of partnership in the direction of mutual recognition of authorized economic operators.
The Turkmen delegation visited Dubai Customs and Jebel Ali seaport, where they got acquainted with the latest system of radioactive scanning of transport during customs inspection. The use of this system makes it possible to safely and quickly check cargoes, which significantly speeds up the capacity of customs points.
Representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan also visited the Dubai Customs Academy, where they got acquainted with the advanced methods of customs training.
