Turkmenistan and Korea discuss prospects for cooperation

Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov met with Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Ji-Kyu-Taek, who is completing his diplomatic mission. The talks were held on August 11. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Korea.

The central topic of the talks was the discussion of the current state and future directions of development of bilateral relations between the two states. The diplomats analyzed the achieved results of cooperation and identified priority areas for further interaction.

The meeting participants paid special attention to strengthening ties in the political and diplomatic sphere. The sides also considered opportunities to expand trade partnership between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea.

The meeting was held within the framework of the completion of the diplomatic mission of the Korean ambassador to Turkmenistan, which allowed summarizing the results of joint work during his tenure.
