Ambassadors of Turkmenistan and Germany discuss energy projects

German Ambassador-designate to Pakistan Ina Lepel met with Turkmenistan's Ambassador Atamurad Movlamov at the Turkmen Embassy in Islamabad August 18. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan.

Diplomats held productive discussions on regional developments and common priorities. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening stability, peace and regional cooperation.

Ambassador Movlamov briefed the German diplomat on infrastructure and energy projects initiated by Turkmenistan with the participation of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Both sides noted the potential of these initiatives for economic growth and strengthening regional ties.

Ina Lepel emphasized the strategic importance of the Turkmen projects and said that German companies are actively exploring opportunities to participate in their implementation.

The meeting ended with mutual expression of interest in further development of bilateral, regional and multilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and Germany.
