The first Google Developers Group event in Ashgabat is dedicated to women technologists

Ashgabat, March 22, /Arzuw NEWS/. Today, March 22, the first Google Developers Group (GDG) event dedicated to women working in information technology took place in Ashgabat. The meeting, organized at the "Iş nokady" Co-working Center, is called "Women Techmakers Ashgabat".

At the opening ceremony the initiators of "GDG Ashgabat" Merzhen Saparmuradova and Maral Khudaibergenova spoke, who informed about the origin of the idea of the event and noted that similar groups can be created in other cities.

The event discussed issues related to starting a business and using the power of Google Ads to develop the private sector, technological advances and the topic of artificial intelligence.

GDG is an initiative of Google and brings together people around the world working in IT . GDG currently has approximately 845,000 members.
