The Union of Economists of Turkmenistan today held an online conference as part of a startup program that has recently been launched in Turkmenistan. It should be noted that the program is supported by two USAID projects implemented in Turkmenistan by international companies JA Worldwide and Palladium International LLC.
The online event brought together young entrepreneurs participating in the program, as well as organizers, experts, representatives of mentoring companies, and graduates of similar startup projects from other countries. The mentors shared their experience, congratulated the budding businessmen, and wished them success in their startup projects.
More than one hundred young Turkmen entrepreneurs will try to bring their innovative business ideas to the real market. The process of "incubation" or "acceleration" will take place on the basis of 6 mentor companies during 3 months. Many interesting things are waiting for the participants of the program: mentorship, business trainings, creation of business plans and business models, conducting pilot sales and many other things. After such thorough preparation, the developed products will maximize the needs of customers, which will allow them to conquer the market and be competitive.
As emphasized at the conference, young entrepreneurs will be able to use the knowledge and experience of experts from Turkmenistan and other countries who have achieved success in promoting innovative businesses in our country and abroad.
The organizers of the program also noted that they plan to continue working with successful mentor companies to enhance the development of the market for innovative products in Turkmenistan.
