A meeting with the Ambassador of Switzerland was held in Turkmenistan

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov met with Thomas Stäli - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Turkmenistan (with residence in Baku). The meeting was held on December 12 this year in Ashgabat. It is reported Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

In the course of the talks, promising vectors of partnership between the Swiss Confederation and Turkmenistan in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were highlighted.

The meeting resulted in the signing of an agreement on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for holders of service and diplomatic passports, as well as an agreement between the two countries on the readmission of citizens.
