An Akhal-Teke stallion was presented to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on behalf of representatives of the agricultural sector at the Harvest Festival. This is reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.".
The Akhalteke racehorse is named Keremli, which means "bountiful". The breed of Akhalteke horses was bred by Turkmens more than 5,000 years ago and is widely known throughout the world. In Ashgabat, where the festivities were held, representatives of agriculture and cattle breeding thanked the President for creating favorable conditions for effective work.
The participants of the ceremony held as part of the festive celebrations on the bank of the Karakum River expressed gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the measures taken to improve the lives of farmers across the country.
