Cotton growers of Balkan velayat of Turkmenistan were the first to cope with the task set by the state on harvesting, having handed over 16 thousand tons of raw cotton to the country's harman. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
Such a result was possible due to the well-thought-out reforms in the agricultural sector, which were initiated by Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and successfully continued by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The introduction of advanced technologies in the agro-industrial complex and optimization of working conditions of agricultural workers contribute to the increase in crop yields.
The success of cotton growers of Balkan velayat gave special solemnity to the Harvest Day, which was widely celebrated in Turkmenistan last Sunday.
