Ambassador of Turkmenistan accredited in Greece

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Greece (with residence in Rome) T. Komekov presented his credentials to the President of the Hellenic Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou. The ceremony was held on October 8 at the Presidential Palace in Athens. At the beginning of the meeting, the Turkmen diplomat conveyed welcoming words from the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, after which the Greek President conveyed reciprocal greetings.

In continuation of the conversation, the sides discussed the prospects of expanding cooperation. Mutual interest was expressed in building up partnership in various areas of mutual interest.
