Ambassador of Turkmenistan meets with the Head of the Ministry of Education of Georgia

Today Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Georgia D. Seyitmammedov held a meeting with Head of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Giorgi Amilakhvari. This was reported by the TurkmenPortal online publication.

The meeting discussed issues affecting bilateral cooperation in the spheres of education, science and youth policy. Time was devoted to considering the possibility of implementing joint projects, holding conferences, Olympiads and other events with the participation of schoolchildren and students from both countries. The possibility of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between the universities of the two countries was considered.

The Minister noted that the expansion of cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere contributes to the strengthening of interstate ties in general. The sides expressed mutual confidence in further deepening of partnership in the educational sphere.
