Turkmen Foreign Minister meets with the Head of the UN Children's Fund Office

Today, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov received the Head of UNICEF Office in the country Mohammad Fayazi, who is successfully completing his mission in Turkmenistan in this capacity. This is reported by the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting, the parties noted the high level of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNICEF.
The main aspects of Turkmenistan's implementation of the UNICEF Country Program for Turkmenistan for 2021-2025 were discussed. The program includes protection of children's interests, promotion of their health, ensuring proper nutrition and early development, inclusive education.

The representative of the UN Children's Fund noted the fruitful work of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Care in the field of treatment of children with chronic diseases.
