Uzbek Ambassador to Turkmenistan presents credentials to Serdar Berdimuhamedov

On December 13, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan Ravshanbek Alimov, who presented his credentials to the head of state, TDH reports.

Expressing sincere gratitude for his time, the diplomat conveyed to the head of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov heartfelt greetings from the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who addressed his best wishes to the brotherly Turkmen people.

Thanking the Ambassador for his kind words and conveying warm greetings to the Uzbek leader, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible diplomatic post and wished him success in further development and strengthening of comprehensive interstate interaction.

During the meeting, a high level of fruitful dialogue successfully developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats, within the framework of authoritative regional and international organizations was noted.

As it was emphasized, trade and economic ties have a special place in the agenda of multifaceted cooperation. Bilateral trade turnover shows positive dynamics, contacts in the fuel and energy, transportation and logistics and agricultural sectors are actively expanding.
