UN Secretary-General António Guterres sent a letter to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressing his sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation during his visit to Ashgabat, TDH reports.
In his letter, António Guterres noted that he highly appreciates the personal involvement and leadership of the President of Turkmenistan in promoting the Sustainable Development Goals, addressing climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
UN Secretary General in his letter noted that the jubilee medal received in honor of the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli, encourages him to continue to strive for the ideals of harmony between people and nature, which was defended by Makhtumkuli Fraghi, and appreciates the partnership and hopes for further strengthening of joint efforts.
