A seminar for Turkmen customs experts was held in Ashgabat

The Border Management Assistance Program funded by the European Union held a seminar for experts of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan on innovative principles, risk management methods and green channels in Ashgabat from 14 to 16 February. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The purpose of the seminar was to apply innovative methods in improving the risk management system for classifying and profiling customs risks. The workshop resulted in the development of recommendations for modernizing the risk management system and green channels.

The training event was conducted under the "Facilitating legitimate trade flows across borders" component of the 10th phase of the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia.
