The year 2024 will mark 10 years since the opening of the Italian diplomatic mission in Ashgabat. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
During the conference "Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Peace Concept and Diplomacy of Neutral Turkmenistan", Italian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Luigi Ferrari said that a number of political, cultural, business and educational events have been planned on the occasion of the remarkable event.
Over the years of diplomatic relations, the countries have established effective cooperation in various areas, including business, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Last year, the Embassy of Italy in Turkmenistan together with the Ministry of Culture organized concerts dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the outstanding composer Giuseppe Verdi.
In March 2024, a concert of famous pianists of the two countries will be held in Ashgabat.
