The Friends of Sustainable Transport met in Ashgabat

The 2nd ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends of Sustainable Transport was held in Ashgabat on Wednesday, November 27 this year in the framework of the large-scale International Conference and Exhibition ITTC-2024. This is reported on the website Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was attended by heads of relevant departments and ministries of transport of Turkmenistan and states that are members of the Group of Friends of Sustainable Transport, representatives of UN specialized structures and heads of foreign policy agencies accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as leading transport experts and journalists.

In the course of the conversation, the participants considered the improvement of transportation systems at the regional and global levels, and noted the need to consolidate efforts in overcoming current challenges in the transport and logistics sector.
