Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee on Economic Cooperation, met with Hiroyuki Tsubai, Chairman of the Japanese-Turkmen Committee on Economic Cooperation, in Ashgabat on Monday, December 16. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on a wide range of issues of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas. Attention was also paid to the international agenda.
The co-chairmen of the committees discussed in detail the progress of the implementation of topical joint projects. The priority vectors of partnership between the states were named the spheres of transportation, construction, "green" energy. The parties noted the productivity of bilateral cooperation, which is facilitated by regular meetings at the highest level.
