Ashgabat will host a meeting of the CIS Advisory Council on Social Protection

The 37th meeting of the Advisory Council on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the CIS countries is scheduled to be held in Ashgabat on October 17-18 this year. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."

Information about the upcoming event was announced during the Government meeting on July 26 by Deputy Prime Minister H. Geldimiradov. The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan presented a report on the results of the preparatory meeting with representatives of CIS countries, which was held on June 14 in online format.

Summarizing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of expanding cooperation in the CIS space, including in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. The head of state gave instructions to ensure a high organizational level of the planned event.
