On July 26, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Georgia organized a photo exhibition in the gallery "Akhundov House" under the title "Makhtumkuli Fraghi: a view from Georgia", which will continue its work until August 2. This is reported by Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
Heads of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Tbilisi, representatives of Georgian ministries and agencies, cultural figures, artists and scientists, professional photographers and journalists were among the guests of the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition. The exhibition features over 50 works by Turkmen artists depicting various events in the life of the great poet and thinker.
Ambassador of Turkmenistan D. Seyitmammedov and Head of the Krsanisi district of Tbilisi Beka Mikautadze made welcoming speeches to the guests. Seyitmammedov, as well as the Head of the Krsanis district of Tbilisi, Beka Mikautadze. The speeches emphasized the importance of cultural and humanitarian interaction between Turkmenistan and Georgia.
