A meeting of the Nature Protection Society of Turkmenistan was held in Ashgabat

The conference hall of the Lachyn Hotel hosted the regular report-election meeting of members of the Nature Protection Society of Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

In the course of the meeting the issues related to amendments to the Charter of the Society, election of the Chairman, members of the Board and the Auditing Committee of the Society were considered. The Chairman and heads of velayat subdivisions of SPNA presented reports on the work for the reporting period.

The participants of the meeting unanimously approved amendments to the Charter, including changes in the amount of voluntary membership fees, as well as the new composition of the Audit Commission and the Board of the Society headed by Serdar Allekov for the next 5 years.

The conference was attended by representatives of the country's nature reserves, mass media, and public organizations.
