An extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on the results of 2023 was held on February 9. This was reported by the online publication "TurkmenPortal".
The meeting addressed issues related to personnel policy, agricultural reforms, development of industry and energy. The President of Turkmenistan signed a number of important documents, including personnel reshuffles in ministries, agencies, associations and khakimliki.
Economic indicators were announced: GDP growth for 2023 was 6.3%, wages increased by 9.9%, and trade volume increased by 10.9%. The output of oil bitumen, gas, silk, sausage and dairy products and other products also increased. It was also noted that in 2024 it is planned to put into operation 13 new objects of different purposes in Ashgabat, Akhal, Balkan, Lebap, Mary velayats.
