The opening ceremony of the Year of Chinese Culture in Turkmenistan was held

The opening ceremony of the Year of Culture of the People's Republic of China in Turkmenistan was held in the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Center of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

Guo Hongliang, Charge d'Affaires of the People's Republic of China in Turkmenistan, made a welcoming speech to the guests of the ceremony. After the solemn part of the ceremony, the audience saw the performance of artists from the PRC who presented national songs, dances, ethnic musical pieces of the peoples living along the Great Silk Road, excerpts from the Qin Opera and other interesting numbers.

A photo exhibition was organized in parallel with the opening ceremony and concert program. The pictures presented by Chinese photographers reflected the unique nature of the Celestial Empire.
