Days of Turkmen culture began in Hungary

On Wednesday, August 7, the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan started in Budapest and will end on August 11. A Turkmen delegation of masters of arts, cultural workers, cinematographers, museum workers and journalists went to Hungary to take part in the creative festival. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Guests of the opening ceremony of the Days of Turkmenistan Culture in Hungary visited the organized exhibition of museum exhibits, fine arts and decorative and applied arts.
A big Gala Concert was held with participation of the Hungarian State Folklore Ensemble and Turkmen artists.

The Days of Turkmen Culture in Hungary coincide with the celebration of Kurultai, an annual festival of cultural traditions of Turkic peoples. The festival includes the inauguration of the monument to the great poet and thinker Makhtumkuli Fraghi.
