Turkmenistan participated in a meeting on media issues

A consultative meeting of the Central Asian countries on media issues was held in Astana on August 8. This was reported by the Internet edition "AsmanNews.

The meeting was held within the framework of information cooperation. It was attended by representatives of specialized agencies from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan. The issues of media literacy and the fight against fake content were discussed. Special attention was paid to the possibility of creating a Central Asian TV channel and a regional media platform.
