Khadzhiev, Afghanistan by M. Nab, Tajikistan by M. Huseynzoda, Kazakhstan by M. Syzdykov, Uzbekistan by S. Asadov, Kyrgyzstan by A. Madmarov.
The parties discussed the improvement of partnership relations between the states of the region, as well as cooperation between Central Asia and the EU in the field of security. The topic of the next round was raised Meetings between foreign ministers of the CA-EU formatas well as to To the First Green Economy Forum.
The Turkmen side noted that the implementation of various EU programs contributes to sustainable development and increased security in the region, as well as accelerated economic growth. That is why it is so important now to continue strengthening already existing ties between the EU and Central Asia, as well as to expand them.
The sides noted the need for more effective development of multilateral dialogue and interaction in order to return Afghanistan to peaceful development and establishment of a prosperous society in the state. The sides noted the positive experience of Turkmenistan, which has promoted peaceful resolution of acute situations that periodically emerged in the neighboring country. In addition, the Turkmen side initiated provision of a political platform for implementation of inter-Afghan negotiations.
In addition, it was noted that the European Union supports UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy in Central Asia and intends to fully support its work in the future.
Conference participants also touched on such relevant topics for Central Asia as the pandemic and the consolidation of efforts to overcome its socio-economic impact; ensuring the social protection of the population, digitalization and the transition to a green economy.
