The premiere screening of the movie entitled "Makhtumkuli Fraghi" was held in Uzbekistan. The full-length feature film was created under the direction of famous Uzbek director Muzaffarkhon Erkinov together with cinematographers of Turkmenfilm, the Agency of Cinematography and the National Center for Development of Cinematography. The movie tells about the young years of the great poet, thinker and philosopher Makhtumkuli Fraghi, fully revealing the formation of the ideas of humanism, love for the native land, unity of the people.
The premiere screening was attended by the creators of the film and famous filmmakers of the two countries, Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the Republican Turkmen Cultural Center, First Secretary of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the country, as well as members of the Turkmen diaspora in Uzbekistan and media representatives.
