An international online conference on the role of modern biotechnology in the development of the agricultural sector was held at the Agricultural Institute in Turkmenistan. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
Scientists from 84 higher educational institutions and research centers of 14 countries took part in the large-scale event. There were 260 presentations, the most interesting of which were noted during the final session.
The Forum was held in five sections, each of which was dedicated to one of the most important aspects of biotechnology: advanced bioremediation methods for water and soil treatment, biotechnology in animal husbandry, genetic engineering, creation of fertilizers using biotechnology, training of specialists and education.
