The XVII Cheboksary International Film Festival was held in Chuvashia from May 23 to 29. According to the results of the festival, the film "Daragt" by Turkmen director Sakhysalykh Bayramov received a special prize. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
A film by Turkmenistan's leading art association "Turkmenfilm" named after Oguzkhan was shown at the Volzhsky Cinema. The work was appreciated by experts and filmmakers from Armenia and Russia.
Filmmakers from 15 countries participated in the ethnic and regional film competition.
Turkmenfilm" association regularly releases new works on the national television screens. The shooting of the films "Makhtumkuli", "Ependi" and "Atalar we ogullar" is currently being finalized.
