A conference on the place of chemistry in the economy was held at the Technocenter of Turkmenistan

The Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan jointly with the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli held a scientific-practical conference "Place of chemical science and technology in the national economy". This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Speeches of the conference speakers were devoted to the role of chemical technologies in the development of Turkmenistan's economy. It was noted that effective practical steps in this direction can be the introduction of modern technologies in the chemical industry, effective use of local raw materials, production of new types of fertilizers, processing of waste oil production.

The forum also presented projects on gas processing and production of new substances from aromatic hydrocarbons.
