ECO Secretary General: Turkmenistan is actively improving logistics links

Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization Assak Khan noted at the ITTC 2024 conference in Ashgabat that Turkmenistan is effectively developing projects aimed at improving transport logistics and forming efficient transport corridors. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."

The ECO Secretary General emphasized that the most important direction in the development of logistics links is the use of a network approach, including multimodal routes, which are designed to ensure the efficiency of international transportation.

It was noted that a geographic information system (GIS) was expected to be implemented for route planning, which would enable real-time tracking of goods along the route.
