A reception dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence was held in Beijing on November 25. It is reported Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the event, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin congratulated Turkmenistan on the 33rd anniversary of independence and the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi. In his speech, the guest of honor expressed confidence that Turkmenistan would continue to move forward on the path of progressive development, adhering to the principles of permanent neutrality.
The reception was attended by more than 400 guests, including PRC party and government officials, diplomats, university professors and representatives of public organizations.
