Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan received copies of credentials of the Ambassador of Uzbekistan

On December 2, Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan Ravshanbek Alimov at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the newly appointed Ambassador presented copies of his credentials to the Foreign Minister. This is reported on the website Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan. 

Rashid Meredov congratulated Ravshanbek Alimov on his appointment to the responsible post and emphasized his readiness to assist in carrying out an important diplomatic mission. During the conversation, the sides noted the similarity of positions of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan on many issues on the regional and global agenda.

The sides emphasized the consistent development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The sides also emphasized the prospects for strengthening humanitarian partnership based on the commonality of cultures and spiritual values of the two peoples.
