Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov met with Lucia Wild, the new British representative in Ashgabat, and received the diplomat's credentials.
Mrs. L.Wild conveyed to the head of Turkmenistan warm messages from Queen Elizabeth II and Prime Minister B.Johnson and emphasized that the diplomatic relations of the countries have thirty years history. During this time, diplomatic ties have been established, cooperation has been established in the economic sphere, cultural and humanitarian sector, as well as environmental activities.
Among the topical topics of the talks are the opening of new transport routes, ensuring energy security, the expansion of energy exports from Turkmenistan, and the problems of Afghanistan.
Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov and Lucia Wild noted the key vectors of interstate partnership, in particular: fuel and energy, economy and trade, industry, agriculture, digital economy and others.
