Today, on May 3, 2021, the Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan held telephone talks during which they discussed significant issues of Turkmen-Kazakh cooperation. The foreign ministers discussed preparations for the upcoming official visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan. The diplomats discussed a number of issues in this area, including preparations for the next meeting of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission to be held on the eve of the visit of the Kazakh president. Also, the nuances of organizing the VI Caspian Summit were touched upon.
Ministers Rashid Meredov and Mukhtar Tleuberdi noted the need to continue regular political consultations at the level of the Turkmen and Kazakhstani Foreign Ministries.
