The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece has informed that the government will continue to work on expanding bilateral trade partnership with Turkmenistan. Greece looks forward to strengthening cooperation with Turkmenistan, especially in the energy, construction, textile, agricultural, food products and IT sectors.
Greek companies developing innovations in the energy and construction sectors and mineral oil processing are ready to form partnerships with companies from Turkmenistan.
The Foreign Ministry reported that Greece is open to increased interaction not only with its neighbors, but also with geographically distant countries, and noted that the country maintains a friendly diplomatic dialogue with Turkmenistan since 1992. Representatives of the Greek Foreign Ministry stressed that Greece supports and appreciates the neutral policy of Turkmenistan in favor of peace, security, stability and good neighborly atmosphere in Central Asia.
